Foster volunteers provide temporary nurture, care and shelter for an animal before adoption or before the animal can be relocated to a rescue.  Foster homes make it possible to save many cats from euthanasia and provide immediate caring to an animal who has been frightened and stressed in a shelter or dangerous habitat.
