Maine Coon Rescue is a nationwide 501c3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to rescuing Maine Coon and Maine Coon Mix cats. We are a network of volunteers who share one love-our beloved Maine Coons. We assist in assuring that these cats are placed in carefully screened forever-homes where they will spend the rest of their lives being spoiled as they deserve.

The entire funding of our rescue efforts comes from the generosity of cat lovers, through donations, adoption fees and various fundraising activities. This money is used with great care so that every dollar helps as many needy Maine Coon and Maine Coon Mix cats and kittens as possible.

Maine Coon Adoptions is a California rescue group dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Maine Coons and Maine Coon mixes. We are an entirely volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all our kitties live in foster homes until they find their forever homes. Despite the small size of our organization, we were able to rescue and rehome nearly 230 cats in 2010. We are also happy to help rescuers and shelters by promoting their kitties on our website.

MCA is based in the San Francisco bay area and we adopt cats to residents of the state of California only. All applicants are screened to ensure the best match between the cat and its prospective family.

MCRA not a large rescue, we do not keep cats in cages so we don't have oodles to choose from, we carefully screen to make good "matches" between cats and families and because we are solely run by volunteers, at times our workload gets backlogged. However, you'll also find that we "know" our cats. We take in those that are abandoned, abused or are otherwise homeless and we rehab them. We get to now them; their likes and dislikes, and we care for them like they are our own--each one is bittersweet to let go. In short, we do this for the love of the breed, and for the joy in making a difference.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue© is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization founded in 2007. We are an all volunteer organizations. 100% of our funding goes toward the cats... no one gets paid a salary. Our mission is to educate pet owners, breeders, and shelters about our breeds, and to place our cats with Forever Families who will give them the proper care and love they deserve. We carefully match cats with their Forever Families by evaluating each cat's personality, temperament, and special needs. Then we determine the best fit for both the cat and the new family. Please note that we do NOT ship cats. Adoption fee is $175 unless otherwise noted on the individual cat bio. This fee allows us to provide excellent vet care for the cats that really need it. The healthy kitties make it possible for the sick ones to be saved.
